Here's what hit me today...
Hi, my name is Dennis, and I've been MIA all week long.
It's a long story. Bottom line, the rains came down and the floods came up...in my office/basement.
It really messed with my routine all week long. I'm finally normalizing.
So, I'm back, and I'm glad I didn't miss today.
I love 2 Corinthians 4.
I have it printed on a laminated card and pray it a few times a week.
So much here. Paul blends the realism and optimism of life as a servant of Christ so well.
The whole chapter moves me and challenges me.
I love the way he ends!
That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.
